The Locket is a coming of age story about a young girl called Allison who needs to find her biological father before it's too late. It's aslo about second chance romance for the woman Marie who takes her in and follows the four main characters lives as they intertwine in the small town called Kleinmond.
When her grandmother passes away, Allison McCarthy a reserved, self-reliant sixteen-year-old flees the UK in a desperate attempt to escape the terrifying grips of the foster-care system.
