G.G. Fisher aka Germaine resides in Cape Town, South Africa. During her pregnancy, she learned there was a strong possibility her daughter could be born with Down’s syndrome. Becoming a mother re-ignited her with new-found inspiration to pursue her dream of becoming an author. Using her experiences, she hopes to touch the hearts of parents who often go through so many trials and tribulations in silence.

Her passion for writing started at an early age, she wrote her first book at the tender age of 10 using an HB pencil and an A5 Croxley book. She started writing short stories, poetry and playwrights and finally attempted her first fully fledged novel after the birth of her eldest daughter.

She’s worked in the corporate/office environment for 15 years before deciding to dedicate herself to her family full-time. When she’s not catering to her family’s needs (fur babies included) or off on some family adventure, she’s completely immersed in her writing whether it be a novel, poetry, screenwriting or playwriting.
