I have 40 years of experience teaching self protection tactics to Military, police and private security personnel. I also ran courses for ladies with specific reference to sexual assault evade and escape tactics. These courses were presented to Corporate, social club, churches and schools etc. The courses were based on a proactive (evasion) approach as opposed to a reactive (teaching of combat techniques) model.

After retiring from active teaching I set about compiling the course information into book form in order to continue sharing the information to as wide an audience as possible.

When I am not writing or presenting talks on the subject matter in the books. I make a living playing music in and around the Cape Town and Overberg areas.
