This astonishingly adventurous African story, (fictional reality) , came like a storm out of nowhere during the Covid period, achieving no 1 seller at Exclusive books Somerset Mall and Cavendish. With foreword by actor Jamie Bartlett, Solly Moeing and Thembalihle Sidaki the author was courted by Netflix executives and agreements were signed. The sad loss of the film maker Warren Batchelor and actor Jamie Bartlett who was to play the role of the priest brought it to a standstill, just as all seemed lost Lucia Van Der Post, the daughter of Sir Laurens Van Der Post gave it a sterling review in the London daily Mail and an amended edited version was launched in the USA. It remains the swansong of Shiloh’s writing career, some say an African epic that needs to go global.
