J.D. Kizza is a practising nurse and the author of The Journals Trilogy. She began writing the story during her years of study at The University of The Witwatersrand, drawing inspiration from her adventures there. When she isn’t at work, she can be found with her mind buried in a good story, whether it’s between the pages of a book or on the silver screen. She loves reading and writing, and enjoys poetry, as well as romance, fantasy, and crime fiction. She lives with her family in Johannesburg.
